We had an awesome group vacation with our friends! The hiking trails, like the Fern Lake trail, were nearby, and the scenic views made our trip memorable. We enjoyed dining at the restaurant on site and relaxing near the pond. The location is perfect for exploring and relaxing by the lake. The atmosphere was really chill and perfect for our getaway.
The spa was a bit of a letdown, as it didn't allow kids in the locker area and felt very dark and cramped.

Nice getaway with some quirks
We had a chill stay in a cozy cabin over the 4th of July. The fishing pond was beautiful, and we loved hanging out on the deck. But, man, those beds were rough. I had to sleep at the foot of the king bed since it was all slanted. Also, be ready for some noise if there’s a wedding!

We enjoyed the beautiful hiking trails around the Double Eagle Resort, especially the Rush Creek Trail which was an adventure for the whole family. The outdoor pool was a hit with the kids, allowing us to unwind after a day filled with exciting activities in the serene surroundings.
For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly dining options available on-site.

I had a lovely stay here and really enjoyed the spacious cabin with the stunning forest view. The indoor pool was such a relaxing spot to unwind. The onsite spa services were top-notch, making it easy to pamper myself after a day of exploring. Just a heads-up, the beds could use a little updating, but it didn't take away from my overall great experience. 😊
